  1. My dream trip would be a year in a cottage in the English countryside. I’d make periodic trips across Europe but use the cottage as a home base. 🙂

  2. If money and time were of no issue – I would road trip through Ireland. I’ve been to Galway while studying abroad, but it was for 2 days and the trip just left me aching for more of their mesmerizing countryside. So I would load up a van with a close friend (and maybe a trusty dog sidekick) and see the entire country. Dublin down to Cork, Killarney to Galway, over to the Aran Islands and anywhere else that caught our eye. We would stay however long we wanted and have as many pints of Guinness as we could stomach.

  3. Oh, man. So many places… I think if the time piece was no issue, I’d go to Australia. I studied abroad there and want so badly to go back for an extended vacation.

  4. I would love to travel to Southeast Asia, especially India and Nepal. See the sights, eat the food, meet the people!

  5. I’ve always wanted to spend a considerable amount of time in a cottage in Ireland or England, or even a castle in Scotland. The location isn’t all of it, however. I want to be sure there are copious amounts of tea and biscuits, which I’d consume as I leisurely spent the entire vacation writing (in a journal and in letters to people) and drawing and sipping tea. No computer. No phone. Just me, tea, paper, and pen.

A cat wouldn’t be bad, either. I’d probably throw in a few books to read by a fire in the evening, where my feet would be up. Absolutely no alarm clocks whatsoever.

  6. My dream trip would be to England, Ireland, Scotland, pretty much any where I think that is exciting! But most of all England I’ve never been really outside of the U.S. expect maybe to Mexico and Canada. But to go to the U.K. and explore and to dive into a culture that is different to my own would be fantastic! That where I would love to go!

  7. Let’s see…..
January – March: cottage located in English countryside
April – June: cottage located on coast of Maine
July – September: cottage located in small village in Ireland
October – December: cottage located in mountains of North Carolina

I would travel with the following “companions”: hubby, 2 cats, camera, books, pens and journals!

  8. My dream trip would be to Greece. I love the scenic views and it’s rich ancient history. I would love it if it was just me with the person I love most, pen, paper, tea, and my DSLR just to document everything that happens and all the sights I have seen.

Thank you for holding this giveaway 🙂 x

  9. Dream trip would be to go to Hawaii. Never been, but I’ve always wanted to go (for at least two weeks).

  12. My dream trip would be to paris circa 1930 when Anais NIn lived there in a houseboat. If I could stay there for six months and live carefree with expenses paid. I would spend each day in the cafe writing. When I return my book would be published. Guaranteed.

  13. A month in Sicily for me, A month in Ireland for the wife and a month in Germany for both of us…maybe a slow boat back to the US afterwards.

  14. Wow, I’d like to travel everywhere if I could but for now I’m thinking someplace warm and beach-y maybe the Bahamas or the Caribbean. 😀 Thanks for the giveaway! 😀

  15. I actually have three dream trips — one is to go to Australia & New Zealand, especially after seeing the amazing scenery in NZ in the LOTR films. Another is to go to Japan. The third is one of those things where I wouldn’t want to stay long, but I’d LOVE to see Antarctica.

  16. Anywhere in the world? Easy: Mars. Imagine doing a pen and ink drawing there. Better bring lots of red ink…. But a return trip, please.

  17. I’d love to go to Japan. I learned more of its culture through watching anime and browsing through the internet, and it’d be wonderful to one day experience the festivals, customs, and places with my own eyes.

  18. Barcelona is next on my dream travel list–hopefully next spring! Here’s to dreaming of great new travel.
