  1. I’d love to win set B because a) I don’t have any rich jewel-toned ink, and b) Saturday is my birthday. This would be an excellent serendipitous birthday win.

  2. What a great giveaway! I love the full-size Iro bottles but these mini bottles are super cute. I would choose the third set, with Tsuki-yo, Take-sumi, and Kon-peki.

  3. Hard to decide because I LOVE Pilot Iroshizuku inks and only have a couple bottles. I’d have to pick Set C to try some brighter colors. I love the dependability of the flow with PI inks. Especially important since I use fine and extra fine nibs. Fingers crossed! 🙂

  4. So pretty! Would like the last set (would that be C?) because those look like interesting colors I’d like to use.

  5. Thanks, Ana and Jet Pens, for the giveaway! It’s difficult to choose between sets – they’re all lovely. I think I would be happiest with set C, though, as the colors look so cheery! 🙂

  6. i would love set b of the mini trios of iroshizuku inks because i’m an ink addict and don’t have any of these three colors in my 88 bottles of ink!!! thank you for the opportunity.

  7. oooo, count me in, Ana. Any of them would be great but 2 out of the 3 of the ones in set C are on my shopping list anyway. I love your site – it’s part of my daily required reading.

  8. I would like to enter to win Set A please- because using those ink colors would stretch me away from the more ordinary colors I currently use. Thank you, Jet Pens and Ana!

  9. I would love to try out Set B! I have one bottle of Iroshizuku, and am so impressed with it, and want to try more!

  10. I’d want to try out set A, because I had a sample of fuyu-gaki and LOVED it, and I’ve been wanting to try ama-iro, too. Plus, my mom loves green, so I’d probably set her up with the syo-ro….and a new pen to match, of course. 🙂 Have I mentioned those 15 mL bottles are adorable? SO CUTE.

  11. Set B; I don’t have a blue similar to Morning Glory & I’m sadly deficient in Magenta. Thank you for the chance!

  12. WOW What an awesome giveaway! thanks Ana and Jetpens. I would use set A (with ama-iro, etc) to write correspondence with and just have fun.

  13. I think Set C would be my choice–I don’t have any inks that resemble those colors! Hard choice, though.

  14. I am new to fountain pens and ink. They are all so beautiful! I would love set B with the grape ink! Thank you!

  15. I’d love to try Set B. I’ve heard of those inks, and have been wanting to give them a try. I don’t have any Pilot inks, so this would be a first.

  16. Oh, fun. What a great giveaway. Those little bottles are adorable, and Iroshizuku is such a well behaved ink. Should I be so lucky as to win, Set B please. 😉

  17. Wow, thanks for the awesome giveaway.

Color set B would be my choice, because I loved the Yama-budo ink sample when I got my hands on it once, the same reason for the Asa-gao, but I still haven’t tried the Shin-Kai. I’ve heard people rave about that particular ink, and I’m itching to snatch it up from somewhere. Plus, the little 15 mL bottles look adorable.

  18. I would choose set C because it fills three holes in my current rainbow of color. I don’t have an orange, a light blue or a teal.

  19. I’d love to win set B because I have only recently gotten into fountain pens and own only one bottle of ink (kon-peki) and would like to try other colors. Thanks for the great giveaway.

  20. Most excellent giveaway! I would really like to try Fuyu-gaki, so I am am choosing set C. Thanks for the chance.

  21. I really love Set C, I like deeper color, especially the take-sumi. It is dark enough, but not black. 🙂

  22. I’d like the set with Syo-Ro. You showed that ink in one of your cool match ups. Thank you and Jet Pens for doing this. I saw those sets on their website.

  23. I’d love to win! I have been wanting to try Iroshizuku inks, and I’ve come close to buying a bottle a number of times… Choosing is hard, but I think I’d have to go with set B — Asa-gao, Shin-kai, and Yama-budo are such lovely, deep and rich looking colors.

  24. Oh wow, I’ve been admiring these! Iroshizuku inks are pretty expensive, but I recently got some tsuki-yo via Amazon for about $20, so I’ll rule out set A.

B or C are both EXCELLENT, but I think I’d go with C…I don’t have a good sky blue (mostly mints or teals on the light side, true blues or blue-blacks on the dark side), I only have one orange (J. Herbin’s orange indien), and syo-ro is very unlike any of the greens in my collection (I lean towards the olive tones, generally, but also have Noodler’s Sequoia, similar but much darker than syo-ro. So dark it’s often showing up as black in my very fine nibs!)

I don’t have any greys and my only purple is J. Herbin’s violet pensee, not counting some cartridges in Kaweco summer purple that I can’t find or other carts in J. Herbin poussiere de lune, but I dunno, set B just doesn’t speak to me as much. I like the wild brights more.

One thing I do know: I should really stop buying ink for a while, but giveaways don’t count, right?

  25. I’m such a big fan of the Asa-Gao ink and would love to win Set B. Frankly though, any of them would be great!

  26. Ooh… if I was lucky enough to win I would love to pick set B as I’ve been wanting to try out the color Shin-Kai for awhile!

  27. I would love to have Set C because I love writing my pen pal letters with colorful ink, and also because I don’t have any Iroshiizuku ink yet.

  28. Set B- while I am a sucker for Blue inks like in C those in group B would be more of a departure from what I would normally try.

  29. Set A is so cheerful. I have just one ink for my few fountain pens and really would love to get more fun ones as opposed to solely business-type colors.

  30. I would love to try any or all of them but the one that speaks to me is C because of the variety of moods implicit in those colors. Thanks for the opportunity to try them

  31. Set B — Asa-gao, Shin-kai, and Yama-budo — are my choice today. (I’m sure I am fickle enough that i would chose another set tomorrow.)

  32. I would love to win Set B. Despite Shin-Kai and Yama-Budo being two of the most popular Iroshizuku inks, I haven’t tried either.

  33. I’d love to have the tsuki-yo/take-sumi/kon-peki collection. It’s so hard for me to find a black and a blue that I like, but the tsuki-yo and take-sumi look perfect for me. And after hearing Brad Dowdy gush about Iroshizuku inks on a recent Pen Addict episode, they’ve moved to the top of my “to try” list.

  34. Oops… I thought the pictures were in order of A,B,C… The one that I thought I picked in my previous comment turned out to actually be C. So if you could maybe delete my first comment? Please… 🙂

  35. That’s a tough choice; they’re all beautiful colors. I think I’d pick Set A. Thanks for the opportunity.

  36. I would love to win set A. I really love all the sets but I have always wanted a bottle of Kon Peki. Thank you so much for running this giveaway! 🙂

  37. Tough choice, but I’ll go with set C, because I’ve never tried any of those three inks before. Thanks so much for doing this giveaway!

  38. Set B, if you please! Have been interested in mating Iroshizuku inks with my Japanese pens, but too many Diamine and Noodlers to make the splurge! Thank you for the consideration.

  39. I would like to win set C. I have mostly blacks and blue-blacks, and it would be fun to try something different. Thanks for the giveaway!

  40. This is a great giveaway! I’ve been dying to try out more of the Pilot Iroshizuku line. I usually love darker colors, but I also love green so I would choose Set C. Syo-ro is such a beautiful and complex green, I could not turn it down. Plus, I don’t have any sky blues.

  41. Oh my. Set B is nice. Dark enough to use on a daily basis, colorful enough that it can be reserved for special events.

  42. Oh my, I would happily receive any of these. Looking at the sets, my first choice would be Set C. These bright and interesting colors are unlike other inks I already have and would inspire me to use inks differently. Second choice would be set A for Tsuki-yo. Third choice set B so I can try that beautiful and subtle shin-kai.

  43. Set B — Asa-gao, Shin-kai, and Yama-budo. I don’t have any Iroshizuku inks yet. Thanks for the chance to win!

  44. They’re all beautiful! I think I’d go for Set A though because I have a weird fixation with the sea at the moment, and I could use all three of those colours to create some lovely stormy sea-themed drawings 😀

  45. I guess set C because I usually like darker colors and Tsuki-Yo IS my fav of these. Any would be more than acceptable though. Thanks for the opportunity.

  46. I would like Set C! I am a big fan of blue and orange, but while I have kon-peki, shin-kai, and yu-yake, I don’t have any of the colors in this set and would like to compare them.

  47. I would love set B! Because Yama-Budo is one of my favorite inks, and I really loved my sample of Asa-Gao when I had it.

  48. What a great idea for a contest! If I was lucky enough to win, I would be torn between set B and set C. In the end, I would have to go with set B. I have heard great things about Shin-kai. I’ve tried a sample of Asa-gao and really liked what it did in a pen with a stub nib and Yama-budo looks like it would be interesting, too.

  49. I would be thrilled to win any of these sets, especially C. In the beginning of the school year, I make bookmarks with students’ names on them as a reward for work completion and to keep their interest in calligraphy alive. These would be a perfect set to have on hand! Thanks!

  50. If I were to be so lucky as to win, I would like Set B, because: Asa-gao. My dear departed mother used to call me Morning Glory. (Yep, playing the dead mom card. 😉 )

  51. Very generous giveaway, many thanks. I would choose set A–I really like the variant blue of Tsuki-yo, I know someone who really likes Kon-Peki, so I would share it with them, and perhaps Take-Sumi is the black I’ve been waiting for…

  52. So hard to choose. There is something I love in all of them. I would say set B since all three are colors I love. The others each contain a color I’m not certain I would use much.

  53. I’d love to win Set A! I mostly do my writing at work, so darker colors are best for me. I’ve tried samples of Tsuki-yo and Kon Peki and love both of them, it would be great to try Take Sumi.

  54. Set B, super pretty please! Asa-gao and Yama-budo are two of the most perfect colors ever invented, and I am excited to try the Shin-kai. Bonus that my wife likes these colors–we can share. (Well, maybe….) Thank you, and a big thank you to Jet Pens, too.

  55. I’d love to try set B, especially Shin-kai, which looks like a lovely deep blue. Thanks for offering the giveaway!

  56. Set A is what I meant. I apologize, I thought the pictures were in a, b, c order. Of course, I would be excited to win any of them, but that’s the one that touched my heart. Please delete one of my posts if this made it count as two entries, I’m so sorry for any inconvenience.

  57. Set C. Because I already know I love Yu-Yake, and Fuyu-Gaki looks like it’s the same only more so. And because the other two would be perfect to write to one of my best friends in because she loves everything teal and turquoise.

  58. Set B – I like all three colors and wouldn’t use the orange and red from the other sets as much. The bottles are quite attractive.

  59. Set C would be my choice, of the three options. As someone who loves blues, blue/blacks, turquoise, and orange inks, it seems as though this set was put together with me in mind.

    Thanks for the awesome opportunity.

  60. I’d pick set A. Kon Peki is one I’ve been wanting to try, it’s so popular, and set has black, which I don’t have much of.

    Thanks for great opportunity.

  61. I like Set A, it reminds me of fall which is fast approaching and I do have a few empty fountain pens who are begging to be inked up with a new color! My pen collection has grown much faster than my ink collection and that needs to change!

  62. Oh they’re all so great! If I had to choose I’d probably pick set C because I’ve really wanted to try the fuyu gaki

  63. What a great contest! I never noticed the 3-bottle sets before. I would choose set A even though I have a full bottle of Kon-Peki already but I love that ink.

  64. Set C! That grey turquoise looks lovely and the sky blue looks like a shade I might actually enjoy (blues are not usually a favorite). Thanks for the giveaway! If I were to win, that would make a great present for my birthday on Monday

  65. Set B, hands down! That red is so gorgeous. I’ve never bought any of their inks because I couldn’t decide on a color, but now I don’t have to choose just one!

  66. I would love Set A! The blues are great and I have been wanting to try take-sumi for a while! Thanks for the giveaway!

  67. Would definitely go with Set A. It has all the colors I use on a daily basis – just the “boring” basics of Black, Red, and Blue. I’m always on the lookout for new shades and variations of the basics.

  68. I like Set C just because the colors are bright. I use a lot of muted blacks and blues, feel like it’s time to branch out with some bright red/oranges and light blues.

  69. Set B for sure, Shin-Kai is already in my rotation. Asa-gao looks gorgeous, and given how much I like the J. Herbin Poussiere de Lune, an Iroshizuku purple would be great to try.

  70. I would like Set C. That Grey Turquoise is so moodily beautiful, and persimmon is just the bomb! And sky blue is so innocent. ..

  71. SeT B … Yama-Budo for my Orange TWSBI 580AL – should look creepy for Hlloween! Shin-Kai for my new Lamy 2000 – classy with a hint of color. Asa-Gao, hmm, I’m sure I can find a pen for it!

  72. Oh man, this is hard. I’d have to say Set B, just because I imagine I’d use Shin-kai and Yama-budo a ton. Set A and Set C are so gorgeous though… Argh! My budget is too small for JetPens!

  73. Set B i love these little ink bottles and blue/greys and purples are my favourite! what’s your favourite colour? I’m always afraid of the big bottles because I’ll never finish it, so this is perfect!

  74. What to choose? What to choose? I’d love to win set B but they’re all pretty wonderful. I love the new smaller bottles. Thanks for sharing!

  75. Would love to try specific colors from each, but forced to choose would have to go with B. Nice sizes to give colors a try without breaking th bank until you know if you like the color.

  76. I would love set B. I have none of these colors but enjoy the pilot inks. I have been waiting to try these smaller ink sizes. With the bigger bottles it takes me too much time to go through the them .

  77. Set A. Blue is a color that speaks to me and I love how the midnight blue reflects the sky at that time and the deep blue reminds me of the ocean~

  78. I would purchase “Set C” because, as a new FP user, I picked up more dark inks than bright inks, so I’d like to vary my collection. Also, the bright colors might be a selling point to get my bride interested in the hobby! Thanks for the chance to win. My best to all who have entered!

  79. I’d like Set C – I’ve ordered my first Iroshizuku bottle from Japan inspired by the many reviews despite the price & I’d love to tty these others too!

  80. Ugh, according to Jet Pens, it is Set C that has Syo-Ro. So ignore set A above. Sorry Ana, for so many goofs in my replies.

  81. I would like to try Set A because the colors look extremely vibrant. I have just recently developed an interest in fountain pens and would love to try these out because of all the good reviews. Thank you so much!

  82. I really want to try the yama-budo but i already have a whole bottle of shinkai. I guess I would like set A then. Hope i win XD

  83. I’d go with Set B. That Yama-Buda looks amazing and, is completely different than anything else I have.

  84. Set C all the way. I love the blues – turquoise is my favorite color – and that persimmon shade is a gorgeous contrast. The set looks like a brilliant maple against a bright blue sky in Autumn.

  85. I love all three! I have all three saved to my Wishlist… If I have to choose one, I would choose Set B since the colors are a bit different.

  86. This is cool…. thanks for the give-away, and thanks to Jet Pens. I like the set with the red ink in it… I’ve been looking for a good red to turn to, and this could be it. I think it’s set A.

  87. I would love to try Set C because I’m *just* getting into fountain pens, and it’s closest to a red/green/blue coloration that I think would be a good starting point for me.
