Field Notes Planner in use

The weekly planner looks fabulous and I am looking forward to seeing more details. Its the same size as the Arts & Science edition at 4.75 x 7.5″ with a double wire spiral and 56-weeks of planning on Finch 70# text paper. The lines look like they are printed in a brown ink which is a great way to get your blue, blue-black or black ink to pop. Or if you’re like me, your purple, pink, turquoise, orange or lime green pen to pop.

  1. You saved me from myself. I supposedly read that e-mail but, I am having trouble comprehending. The tone of your post made me realise I could order the waves set.

  2. Thanks, I signed up and got a set! I fell in love with these after seeing and hearing about them on the Pen Addict podcast, le sigh …

  3. I really need to buy some Field Notes journals. I’ve never actually used one and have always wanted to! I really enjoy Fabriano and Clairefontaine, but the pen/pencil community really seems to love themselves some FN! Thanks for the recommendation! ~Elle at The Acculturated Housewife

  4. I saw your email before the Field Notes email. I was thinking of getting the Shenandoah set for a gift, so now the XOXO will be a gift too.

But sadness! Because of the check your order option after ordering I saw past orders. Looking at them showed me I had not ordered an extra Night Sky edition like I thought I had. I was so certain I had and hid it. Bummer.

The planners look cool, but I’m not sure I have a need. But to others, if the paper is like the stenos, they should hold up well to fountain pens.
