Word. Notebooks have just released their new Terrain Series notebooks featuring topographic style artwork on the covers of three different sets of notebooks in green, orange or ivory. Inside, these notebooks feature the same lined paper with the built-in bullet system as their previous notebooks and feature 48-pages in each of their 3-pack of notebooks. Each set is available for $9.99 for a 3-pack. Perfect for all your summer explorations.

Word Terrain Series Notebooks

Paper tests from previous reviews of the original Word. Notebooks and the Declan Floral Edition. The Terrain editions feature the same lined paper in the same color and weight.

  1. Please actually use the products you are “featuring” and give us an idea of what it is like. Thanks. Otherwise, it is just free advertising.

    1. I have reviewed the Word. Notebooks twice in the past. The paper stocks have not changed so I just linked to the previous posts once I realized that the paper was the same but here they are again: here and here.

  2. I’ve managed to resist Word notebooks in favor of Field Notes. I do prefer lined paper.

Since you are my enabler, are they good with fountain pens? This might be the version that pulls me in. I hardly need them though.

    1. The paper is decently fountain pen tolerant but there’s some show through on the reverse of stock. I did reviews of these notebooks in the past, I’ll add the links more clearly above. I think I was a bit too vague about it.

  3. Thanks for the post and linking the previous notebook reviews. Word seems like an okay alternative to Field Notes. Anyways, at $10 why not experiment a bit?

  4. Without one word on the subject, the photographs in this post made the case for always buying spiral-bound notebooks – because they lay flat. I doubt that was the Author’s intent – but that’s what I took away from the post.

    1. When writing, they lay flatter than you’d expect but they are easier to photograph with a clip but I find that to be true of all the pocket notebooks that are stitched or stapled.
