Fashionable Friday: Bibliophile

This is one of the biggest Fashionable Friday posts I’ve ever put together and I could have crammed even MORE into it. I love books, bookstores and biblio-puns. I even have a board on Pinterest where I’ve collected posters, jewelry and other goodies that I like that is bibliocentric and where several of the items that ended up in this week’s FF originated. I suspect many of you analog writers are probably also analog readers as well, or avid readers in general. I am a reading enthusiast and read both digital and analog books. I like art books, knitting and craft books analog but I tend to get my genre fiction digitally these days. How do you read?

  1. This is a wonderful Fashionable Friday post, Ana! Thank you for celebrating bibliophiles. I am a great lover of public libraries; recently retired after 38 years as a librarian, the last few years mostly doing Reader’s Advisory. I admit I was slow to embrace reading on a digital device, but eventually did and now read about half actual books, half digitally. For me, it depends on whIch format I can borrow – I rarely purchase books. I hope your readers know that borrowing ebooks is possible in many libraries.

  2. Great, bookish products here on the Desk! Honored to see our bookmarks among all the cool items. Metal and enamel pins! Love them all. Thanks, Desk.

  3. I really am enjoying this Fashionable Friday. I already have the Field Notes and the Planets washi tape.

Ana, do you own any of the products? How did you choose the ink colors? Was it to match the other products?

Though I’ve never been a librarian, I do like the pin. Plus it ties in to the tv series The Librarians. Heck, I like all the pins you included.

    Very fun post.

    1. I ordered several of the enamel pins for myself and I buy MT brand washi tape like crazy because it’s the best quality. As for the inks, I tend to choose colors that best match from brands I trust. The Aurora blue-black is a new option and I know how much people like the Aurora Blue and Black options so I wanted to make sure it got attention. I’m lusting after that Montegrappa Mosaica myself so I think it goes with everything. So that’s some of my explanations.
