Will Freeborn (of Ghostschool) is a prodigious sketcher and has compiled some of his favorite sketches into a book called See You Around. The work is beautiful and the cover — a pile of well-used, well-loved Moleskines is stunning.

I just heard about this new Sharpie pencil this morning on NPR. Has anyone tried one? Let us know what you think!
Sharpie has combined the permanence of a pen with the erasability of a pencil with their new Liquid Pencil. The “ink” inside this pen is a liquid graphite that stays erasable for three days. After that, it turns to ink and stays permanent.

So hot, even the rubberized dots on Faber-Castell Grip 2001 pencils are starting to melt! So sad to see these pencils succumb to the heat as they are my all-time favorites.
