Lime Green Giveaway

The lime load

This is the first of the color-themed sample giveaways in honor of the third anniversary of The Well-Appointed Desk. Today’s giveaway is an assortment of items in my favorite hue — three notebooks of varying sizes including a Green Room composition book and a plethora of green pens and pencils. The pens were used for writing tests and review but are practically new. All the notebooks are unused. More items may be added.

To enter, just leave a comment and tell me how you ended up reading The Well-Appointed Desk. Did you find me by way of Google search, link from another site (please let me know which one) or are you not sure what you’re doing here but love free stuff?

FINE PRINT: All entries must be submitted by 10pm CST on Tuesday, June 18, 2013. All entries must be submitted at, not Twitter, Tumblr or Facebook, okay? Winner will be announced on Wednesday. Winner will be selected by random number generator from entries that played by the rules (see above). Please include your email address in the comment form so that I can contact you if you win. I will not save email addresses or sell them to anyone β€” pinky swear. Shipping via USPS first class is covered. Additional shipping options or insurance will have to be paid by the winner. We are generous but we’re not made of money.

(Shoutout to JetPens and all the other nice folks who’ve given me samples to review over the years)

  30. I read about your giveaway on the blog Addicted to Pens and Paper. Then I got lost in your blog and almost forgot that i came here because Jackie linked to you. But here I am, now following your blog via Bloglovin.

  31. I’ve been reading your blog for a long time, but I believe that the first link here was via an “ink link” from the pen addict. That was the original blog from where I found most of my pen, ink and stationary blogs.

  32. My favourite colour is lime green so I am a keen follower of you. I suspect I came to you from Notebookstories – I liked the name of your blog.

  33. I found you though the Letter Writers Alliance. Been following your blog for a few months now. The rubber stamps in your shop are always so tempting!

  34. I found your blog/blog post from tumblr! ^^ I don’t really plan on keeping the gifts for myself if I do win, but I do want to give them to my little sister, as she really LOVES green

  35. I’m pretty sure I found you through a link on another blog, but I can’t remember which one – either a pen blog or an art blog, though.

  36. I found your site through The Pen Addict and now consider it must-see pen and paper commentary. and I jut happen to love complimentary pens and paper to boot!

  37. Lime green is one of my favorite colors and so is your site. Sadly, I’ve been here so long that I don’t rember how I found you. I’m pretty sure it was through another office supply related site, but I have no idea which one.

  44. I’m pretty sure it was JetPens. I LOVE your workspace pictures. My favorite is Albert Einstein’s workspace right after death.

  46. I’m green with envy!

I do remember it was another blog that led me here, but I’m having a senior moment and can’t recall which one. I do know it was just before you revamped and posted the poll for your new title. I was one of those who voted for “Chair” – it just sounded so cute and campy in front of “The Well Appointed Desk”. At least you know how long I’ve been hanging around even if I don’t know where I came from πŸ™‚

  47. I first came across your site and blog after googling for a review of the Kaweco Student fountain pen. I found your review and read it, as well as several others. I now subscribe to your blog (and I also recently obtained a Student, which I like a lot). Thanks!

  49. Initially I think I saw a tweet from someone else (I am subgirl on twitter) or was sent a link, but you also are apparently friends with a friend of mine (which totally surprised me out at first because my pen/ink/paper friends don’t ever seem to overlap with my IRL friends. The mutual friend is PK, if you were wondering. I shouldn’t be surprised though because he is fab and knows everyone, I just forget how small a place the world/Internet really is.)

Anyway I adore your blog and it is all that I wanted mine to be but got derailed with health junk so I live vicariously through yours as well as learn a LOT. Super appreciate allthe work you put into it!

I am learning to love the joy of a juicy lime green troigh your enthusiasm ocer it and so wish I could win this pack to broaden my black/pink/red horizons.
