We think we may have solved our spam problem thanks to an anti-spam plugin from CleanTalk. We have been having people testing our comments section. Please drop a comment below to let us know the new system is not blocking REAL people from commenting. If you have issues, please email me at (chair)(at)(wellappointeddesk)(dot)(com) so that I can try to adjust the blocking plug in.
Your assistance will let us know if we can start hosting giveaways again. And… so you can tell us if you agree or disagree with all our other posts.
Thanks so much for your patience and help trying to thwart the spam-a**holes.
I always love your content
Hello Ana hope this is working
Oh, I sure hope this takes care of it! How irritating for y’all.
Part of me would like to type something about your car’s extended warranty. But that’s the sinus meds talking.
Just checking in!
Spam is always an issue! So sorry you had issues! Seems to be working for me. Have a great day guys.
Testing 1.2.3.
Good luck. I love your posts.
Yeah that kinda stuff is a drag. Glad there might be a solution now!
Sad I didn’t get to see you at SF this year, I had a ton of fun in LA but it’s my last year in college and moneys getting tight and free time is scarce. Hopefully I find a jobby job soon after school and can start going to shows again!
Hopefully the fix fixed those spammers.
Spam is such a bummer- glad you got comments fixed finally
Spam should only happen in Hawaii.
It wouldn’t let me comment last week. Hope this one goes through.
So THAT’s what the problem was. I just KNEW I wasn’t malicious or spam.
Hi Ana, the last time I commented, it got blocked. I don’t remember exactly what I wrote, but it wasn’t mean, no curse words. So here goes….
I need to go back and find out what was happening! Have been preoccupied lately.
I just noticed it looks like your current system is trying to set me up with a Gravatar account, or possibly link to one I don’t remember setting up. It shows up in the “Log in or provide your name and email to leave a comment” box. It does allow me to delete it from the comment form, though.
