What can I possibly say about a giant colored pencil art installation in Echigo-Tsumari Japan except, when can I see it myself?

I have been a subscriber to Rad + Hungry’s STMT kits for almost a year now. Every month I get a package of stationery goods from somewhere in the world. In July, I received a patriotic USA kit with General Pencil Co pencils, a small hardcover blank book from Treetop Publishing and real wood pushpins. Excellent kits indeed!
For August, the STMT kits went global again — this time to Peru!
The outside of the plain brown wrapper was embellished with a woven bracelet from Cusco which I love!
Inside, the kit held two notebooks: a large blank wire-bound sketchbook and a grid paper notebook both from a company called Minerva. Also enclosed was a 2B graphite pencil and a red/blue pencil!
Rad + Hungry STMT kits always come wrapped in brown kraft paper and embellished with a print or a little goodie found on their travels. Each kit costs $16 or a subscription can be had for $144 per year.
Israeli-born fashion design Nili Lotan’s Tribeca studio is elegant, understated and a little industrial-chic.

Flipped closed, all the detritus of an office is discreetly hidden, but open, this is a full-fledged workspace — and a lovely one at that. The corkboard mounted to the underside of the lid is a great add-on.
