Put all those notebooks and pens you’ve been collecting to use with the Sketchnotes technique. Its sounds like some NEWFANGLED invention but its mostly a merging of doodling and note-taking to help you process and remember details of meetings, lectures or presentations.

Clickthrough to get lots of links and a video that provides an overview of the technique which does not require drawing skills.

While my skills with Nordic languages is beyond iffy, I think this is a Swedish blogger who posts often about her beautiful home. This picture is of her work table where she sews. I love the use of low-budget strand board normally used for sub-flooring but here its been stained and polyurethaned to a soft sheen and supported by industrial grade plumber’s piping. Mixed with mismatched vintage chairs and farmhouse lighting, there is an almost steampunk, mad professor quality to the space.
