I’m a little late but luckily there are still some sets available from the July edition of the Rad + Hungry The Something Mighty Collection USA collection. I’ve mentioned the Rad + Hungry crew in the past and have loved seeing all the far-flung places from which they’ve acquired pencils and goodies. This collection, however, warms my patriotic heart.

The set includes your choice of pencil lengthener, pencils from General’s (one of the few quality American pencil manufacturer’s left) and a lovely grid notepad all for just $16.

I finally decided to purchase www.wellappointeddesk.com so this blog can now be accessed through Tumblr or directly through our own URL. So, now I’ll have an email address specific to Well-Appointed Desk. I thought I’d let you folks vote on what address I use. Vote now or leave a suggestion in the comments. I’ll close the poll within the week. Thanks for your input!

The software I used to generate the quiz yesterday completely crapped out on me today so please vote again! Thanks!

Poketo Undated Clover Planner

Have you ever gotten the urge to get organized in March or July? Most paper planners have start dates of January, though you can get lucky and find one that starts in September for back-to-school or even rarer one that starts in June. But if that itch to get-it-together starts, say, today, what are you to do? That’s where the Clover Planner comes in to save the day. The pages are noted for the days of the week but the month and date are left blank to fill in as needed.

There are also an assortment of other pages to help you stay on top of things like weekly planning pages, cashflow, notes and sketch sections, pockets for photos and cards, and index stickers.

The Clover Planner is available in green or red for $26.

This beautiful little pad comes from Anthropologie originally but I found it on Papermode. Aged brown paper stock, linen tape binding and a column to put those much loved check marks when you’ve completed the tasks on you list. Lovely!

If anyone has seen these at their local Anthropolgie or owns one, can you provide some additional information? Thanks!

While laptop graphics and iphone cases can be

While laptop graphics and iphone cases can be frivolous, I’ve discovered that they come in handy identifying which one is mine.  I was at my friend’s for brunch recently and there were four different iPhones on the counter. Without turning them on, each unique cover made it easier to tell which was which. I run into the same issue at work since we all use the same looking laptops. This is where Society 6 can come to the rescue.

Society 6 offers artist-designed iPhone cases and laptop vinyl graphics. This particular design is called Against the Grain by Andy Pitts. Society 6 offers a range of products with designs from artists featured on Gawker, Threadless and other well-known sites. Laptop decals are $30, iPhone cases are $35 and iPhone/iPod Touch skins are $15. There are some fantastic designs so you’re bound to find one or two you like. (via Society6)

In an effort to lessen the environmental impact of disposable pens, Pilot has introduced the new B2P, the bottle-to-pen made of 89% recycled materials, specifically PET plastic that’s used to make water bottles. Inside each pen is G2 gel ink available in four colors with the option of 0.5 or 0.7 widths. Can be purchased online starting at $2.50 or through your favorite local office supply shop.
