Vintage drafting table and stool
A good workspace also needs a good utility table — a place to spread out materials for a project, brainstorm or just to stand around and jabber. This wood plank tabletop with solid sheet metal base and old signage drawers is beautiful, functional and environmental, not to mention seriously industrial. Details of the construction of the table can be seen under the “Collab Tables” tab on the Parliament Design site.

While I continue to subscribe to paper magazines, send and receive zillions of packages via Etsy and other online shops, and even maintain relationships via written correspondence, I have to wonder the status of the postal service. This beautiful wood file box and assorted cards set is one of the most beautiful, iconic pieces of modern office accessories. I’d put it up there with the Aeron chair in items that will be remembered. Lovely Design has been selling these beauties for ten years now and hopefully will continue to sell them for at least another ten. $65
