While thinking about penmanship, I have noticed that I prefer a more upright style versus the italic style while I think both are lovely. I naturally write more upright than slanted so I started to investigate methods that employ a more upright approach. I have noticed that Europeans tend to teach a more upright hand, specifically the French, English and Germans. Unfortunately, I found few resources online to demonstrate the styles or provide any techniques for learning these hands.
