Another clean, white, bright Nordic workspace. Clean neat spaces like this would be so inspiring to make big messes in!

This is the PolyPly, a storage, display and charging station for your iDevices. The iPod and iPhone fit in at a 90 degree angle so that the cord bases are easily accessible. An iPad fits with room at the bottom for charging cord and the whole base is angled to make it easy to use an iPad while in the stand either upright or more reclined. There’s even a slot for a touch pen.
Its made from acrylate polymer (shiny acrylic plastic) and birch plywood and solid birch.
As far as I can tell, this product is still in the concept phase but let’s hope its produced soon. Such a clean simple solution for iDevices.

Sometimes, the most inspiring workspace is a wide open table with nothing but paper and pencil and a nice view out the window.

Brent Couchman’s lovely illustration — is the iPhone the defacto notepad now or can I add a notepad to my iPhone to make it truly efficient?

While in Chicago this weekend for the Renegade Craft Fair, I went a little fan-girl on the fine folks from the Letter Writers Alliance. I, of course, immediately became a card-carrying member of the Alliance and look forward to being an active participant in the group. I love sending and receiving letters and cards as much as I love collecting pens and pencils.
If you are a lover of correspondence and want to “Save the mailboxes”, hop on over to the Letter Writers Alliance and join today. You’ll be glad you did and maybe I might just end up being your new pen pal.
