For many years, July was the start of two month-long projects: One Book July and World Watercolor Month. This year, World Watercolor Month is a-go and details about it can be found over on Doodlewash. One Book July, however, is not happening as an organized event this year. As someone who is already using multiple…

As we head into July, stationery and pen fans tend take a moment to rest, enjoy the summer holidays and then re-evaluate their planner or other analog set-up. It’s just how we roll. This week, several posts feature reviews and reflections on goals and stationery plans that were set into motion in January. How have…

Author AnaPosted on June 7, 2023June 7, 20231 Comment

I remember when the rubber duck first went for a cruise around Hong Kong harbor ten years ago. I was tickled to see that in honor of the ten year anniversary of the first time the giant, yellow bathtub buddy set sail, they are launching TWO ducks in Hong Kong Harbor this weekend. It makes…

I saw the new Lamy Plus Colored Pencils this week and thought our colored pencil expert, Tina, might want to review them. When I asked her, she confessed that she already reviewed them and said “Lamy should stick to pens”. So, if you are wondering why we are not publishing a review of the Lamy…

Over the last week or so, I've been slowly updating the shop. First, I have added more pen clean out and ink destashing. Patrons get advanced notice when I do stationery cupboard clean outs so if you join the Patreon, you too can get first dibs when I clear out my ever-expanding pen, paper and ink stash. I've been a little stressed by my collection -- that feeling of having too many things to keep track of, etc -- that I'm probably removing items from my collection that are from the core of my collection, not the fluff....
"review" of the Schon DSGN Monoc nib and Pocket Six anodized aluminum pocket pen. I say "review" because its just 100% praise for this amazing nib and pen.
