Using a spiral model can increase the ink capacity of a pen two-fold. This is still in the concept phase but its only a matter of time before this spiral design in the standard for ballpoint pens. More ink and less waste is a great evolution. (via Yanko Design)

Mmm, blackboard chalks. Somehow, I just can’t see kids getting as excited about getting to draw on a whiteboard with markers. There’s just something about those opaque light lines on the dakr chalkboard that makes my heart go thumpity-thump. (via fuckyeahschoolsupplies)
