Giveaway: Ferris Wheel Press Brush Fountain Pen (in Lord Evergreen) & Ink Charger Set

We were able to obtain a beautiful set from Ferris Wheel Press to give away here on the blog today. The set includes the Brush Fountain Pen in “Lord Evergreen” ($160USD MSRP) with a Medium gold plated nib and the Twilight Garden Ink Charger set ($16USD).

The pen comes with a converter and a velveteen carrying pouch.

The new ink chargers come in a more compact box than the original long tube box which makes storing easier. The ink still come in petite glass vials with the signature gold cap. The opening in the vials is a bit narrow so using the “chargers” to fill your pen may require using a pipette or a large-gauge syringe.

The pouch is foil stamped with a maple leaf on the front and Ferris Wheel Press branding and tagline on the back.

The grip section of the pen has beautiful artwork engraved into the barrel section making it stunning and functionally more grippy.

The charger set has wonderful messaging on the box and two standard ink colors and one shimmer.

  1. I own 4 charger sets and three 35ml bottles of FWP beautiful inks (Bluegrass Velvet, Grape Ice Pop, and Mirror Mirror of Moraine). Always looking to add more. Great inks.

  2. I have never owned a ferris wheel press product and would love to have this to add to my collection.
This year I have discovered there are so many companies that are making pens and inks I never heard of or had anything from and it’s amazing.

  3. Thanks for the introduction to the company! The items are sweet …I like the Always Right Fether notebook and the ballpoint pens.

  4. I do not own any Ferris Wheel Press products at this time. I would start with their inks. They have some unique and beautiful colors. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.

  5. Not a current owner, but from the look of the prize I’d be tempted to start there if I don’t end up as the winner, though it’s more than I usually spend. It’s such a beautiful color.

  6. I don’t own any Ferris Wheel products. Thier Web site is, well, whimsical, i.e. fun. The Ferris Wheel Brush pen in green looks really nice, esp. the grip. If I were to buy one of their products it would be this pen.
As always, thanks for doing the giveaway!

  7. I would like to brush my way to fine writing. The pen looks intriguing. The name is also fascinating.

  8. I have not had the pleasure of trying any Ferris Wheel Press products but the Down the Don Valley – Ink would be one of my picks

  9. I have a few inks, but nothing green – no luck of the irish for me. If I win the pen, my fortunes will rise.

Keep up the good reviews, you WADders.

  10. I don’t own any, but the bottles of ink are what have most caught my attention in the past and might consider buying.

  11. I have known about and followed Ferris Wheel Press for many years now. I don’t own any of their products but this dark green brush pen looks lovely.

  12. I don’t have any FWP products yet, but ink would certainly be the likely bet. Jelly Bean Blue keeps calling to me! Thank you for the opportunity.

  13. Ferris Wheel Press has a unique take on stationery, at a time when you thought it had ‘all been done’..
    I absolutely love their inks.

  14. First I’ve heard of Ferris Wheel. I love the FerriTales: Down the Rabbit hole Inks. What fantastic packaging and the inks themselves look like they’d be a lot of fun. My favorite my be the Tumbling Time Blue.

  15. I love Peter Moss, from their ink collection! So far I’ve only got a sample, but it’s on my bottle list for sure.

  16. I do not have any Ferris Wheel Press products yet! Lady Rose has been on my wishlist since I found out about it, though, as has Tanzanite Sky and Dusk in Bloom! I have yet to pull the trigger. (Guilt of not needing more inks lol)

  17. I own several Ferris Wheel Press inks, but I think my favorite is Bluegrass Velvet, which has become my go-to teal.

  18. I do not have one of their pens, in fact, the company Ferris Wheel Press is new to me.
I like the look of their pens, and the fact that the sections are not smooth metal is a
real plus. I will have to spend some more time checking out the pens on their interesting web site.

  19. Aloha Ana! I don’t own anything from Ferris Wheel Press, but I have seen some lovely ink swatches, so for sure will be adding an ink or two from them. I actually am trying to own at least one fountain pen and one ink from each brand, so Ferris Wheel Press is for sure on my radar. Mahalo for all the excellent reviews.

  20. I have a bottle of April Showers (gray and silver shimmer) and one of their beautiful notebooks, but I haven’t tried either of them yet. I’m kind of weird in that I don’t use new stuff right away, I tend to save it for my off days to cheer me up. Someday I would love to try their Pumpkin Patch (rich orange) or Algonquin Maple (desaturated bright red) inks. Getting three new inks (and a pen!) might crack my resolution to save everything and start swatching in my notebook!

  21. I have a number of Ferris Wheel inks which I love and I’ve actually been eyeing this so it would be fantastic to get it!

  22. Wow, I want, like, everything they make! The pen in the giveaway is pretty gorgeous, but I am seriously thinking about ink and paper, even if I don’t buy a pen myself.

  23. I have seven or eight bottles and three sets of chargers from Ferris Wheel Press. All the colors are pretty but half of them are too light to use in writing and if you order upon release or through kickstarter like I have you can’t tell which inks work. I’ve never used one of their pens and doing so would be a treat

  24. Oh – I have a decent collection of FWP. The aesthetic is just so perfect and I love the ink!

Currently – 28 Bottles. A few of my favorites: Adventurine & the newest addition Blushing Mushroom, Royal Rhubarb, Roaring Black Patina, Midway the Magnificent, Frivolous Lime, & Bookkeepers Brass.

I don’t have a pen from them yet – but they are on my wishlist!

  25. I don’t have any Ferris Wheel products but I think some of their sketchbooks look really nice.

  26. I do not have a Ferris Wheel pen. The Lord Evergreen is Beautiful! I had never seen it. It is now on my buy soon list.

  27. I don’t own any Ferris wheel products yet, but one of their brush fountain pens is next on my list.

  28. Oh, this is an entirerly new brand for me! How fun!! It is impossible to choose just one product! I think I need consider splurging on the Treasured manuscript ink (love both the color and the name!), the Writing desk ink (perfect coffee color!!), adventureine (LOVE the color combinations!!). The color spectrum notebook also looks fantastic!! A few of those might have been added to the cart… The fountain pens look gorgeous as well, but I do not want to by any of those untried. Thank you for letting me know about the brand!

  29. Like many of your other readers, I don’t have any Ferris Wheel products but their pens and ink bottles are so beautiful I’d love to have one on my desk.

  30. I just learned about Ferris Wheel inks this week and ordered one of small tester sets with a lovely coral ink. I am a sucker for the sorta steampunk branding and I’d get a brush pen if I could afford it for my Hobonichi.

  31. I do have a Ferris Wheel Press brush pen and a couple of bottles of their ink. I particularly liked the globe design of their original ink release and I like the pen also. This set of pen and inks is so nice; I would love to add it to my collection!

  32. I own and love FWP ink! Right now, my three favorites in rotation are Lady Rose, Bluegrass Velvet, and Patina Black!

  33. I don’t have any Ferris Wheel Press products yet, but I really like the look of their pens. Lots of unique looking ink colors too! How could anyone choose just one thing?

  34. I’ve been enjoying FWP’s Ferritales inks, along with a huge bottle of Peppermint that I was gifted by a friend. It’s a very expensive way to practice my copperplate, but it makes it so SO much fun! I’m also going to start sneaking it into my work pen so my notes from boring meetings will be boring, but sparkly!

  35. I don’t have any Ferris Wheel Press products yet, but i really, really love the general aesthetics of the brand. My first purchases from them will be the beautifully colored sketchbooks, the bottled inks and their ink samples presentations are second to none, i love how they present their ink samples.

  36. I love my Ferris Wheel brush pen in a sand color. It writes differently than any other of my 100 pens! However I got a Ferris Wheel carousel pen and I am disappointed. The cap is so tight I have to struggle to get it off. Very odd

    1. I’ve been wanting to try FWP ink for AGES. I fell in love with Royal Rhubarb at first sight, but everything they make is just stunning.

  37. I have two charger sets, can’t remember which ones and am too comfy to get up and check. Also a 30ml bottle of Edwards Garden ink. I hope to pick up Blushing Mushroom when that comes out just cause mushrooms

  38. I have the Bookshoppe collection but only just started. Excited to try more Ferris Wheel Press!

  39. I haven’t bought any Ferris Wheel products as of yet. But I always like how pretty they look. This is the first pen that I think looks great! I’ve been curious to try Pumpkin Patch! Thanks!

  40. I don’t have any Ferris Wheel products… yet! … but would love to try this CNN one B out! Thanks for the generous giveaway!

  41. I really want their Rose Gold ink but missed it. I love their style so much and will probably start with the Bathhurst Blue Denim ink. I’d also like to get one of the big collections of 5ml inks, so cool, but they are out currently.

  42. I don’t have any Ferris Wheel products.
I bought an inexpensive fountain pen at an office supply store a few years ago— the ink would not flow so it never worked. (I know— terribly sad story.)
I noticed there are knitters on staff. I’m a knitter and work part-time at my local LYS. (That’s got to count for something!)
My favorite color is green— honest!

  43. I don’t have any Ferris Wheel products but I’m hoping to get a few ink samples for christmas this year (and crikey I can’t believe I just wrote that sentence :p ). WOW this is one gorgeous pen, I would LOVE to own it! But I won something from you several months ago so I shouldn’t win again so soon, just wanted to say thank you for the continued eye candy and the great giveaways you do!

  44. I love my Ferris Wheel ink – Queen Allium Lavande de Maisonnluve – to go with my Koweco Iridescent.
The Lord Evergreen brush pen would be a fine choice for keeping garden records.

  45. I don’t have any Ferris Wheel Press products. I first learned about the company on this site. But having perused their website, I have to say that the Brush Fountain Pen in Lord Evergreen featured here is what I would choose to buy. It is such a stunning pen.

  46. I do not own any ferris wheel press items, but I love the brush pen and it’s grip section. It is so different than any other fountain pen

  47. I’ve always admired Ferris Wheel Press inks, but never sprung for anyway. I’d love to buy some of the chargers to experiment with different colors!

  48. Wow…those are so pretty and the packaging is beautiful too! I don’t have any Ferris Wheel Inks yet but I love the greens and shimmers are very interesting to me. I would like to try Down the Rabbit Hole, Green with Curiosity.

  49. I don’t own any Ferris wheel inks yet. But I hope to acquire blushing mushroom in the course of this year. To me it seems like such an unusual color.

  50. So far, I’ve tried out their ink, purchasing Peppermint Drop in a large bottle and the Candy Marsala in a smaller bottle.

  51. Giveaway entry: I don’t have any products, but I love the name down the rabbit hole:green with curiosity ink. I just read the wonderland books to my kids!

  52. I don’t have any FWP products yet, but I am intrigued by the Nothing Left Fether Notebook in Racing Green!

  53. I don’t have any of their products, but I want some of their lady rose ink. I also love that green of the pen.

  54. Don’t have a Ferris Wheel pin – but it looks wonder and it’s green to boot (my favorite color). I usually only do pens with cartridges, this might actually make me think about real ink.

  55. I own no products by ferris wheel. For stainless steel nibs in what I think are Chinese pens they seem over priced. However I want this CANADIAN company to do well. This is my chance to try out the product

  56. I don’t own anything Ferris Wheel Press products but I would like to buy an ink. Wonderland in Coral looks bright and I would write a fictional story in cursive inside a nice bound notebook.

  57. I have no Ferris Wheel Press products (yet), but would choose one of their Brush pens and/or their lovely shimmery inks.

  58. I sadly don’t have anything quite this evergreenly-beautiful, but there is a spot in my case that is just dye-ing for a green like this!

  59. I own a couple of the inks, my favorite being from the Autumn in Ontario collection, as they remind me of my favorite time of year in the state I grew up in – Michigan. I also have a couple of Carousel fountain pens.

  60. Thanks for a great giveaway. This pen is beautiful and matches my eyeglasses!!

I have Ferris Wheel Press Stories Blue ink—a pretty, dusky blue.

  61. Love the giveaways

The only ferris wheel press products I own are inks. This looks like a neat pen to use.

Love queen allium and roaring patina black.

I want to buy stroke of midnight and dusk in bloom.

  62. I don’t own any products from Ferris Wheel Press. I would probably start with one of their inks, although this brush pen looks very nice.

  63. Owning nothing from FWP, I’d start with some inks. I think Buttered Popcorn and Beaver Dam Brown (because I need a good brown in a bottle rather than just short cartridges). I might throw in some Bluegrass Velvet as well.

  64. I don’t have any Ferris Wheel Press items yet. Some of their inks (Algonquin Maple, Goose Poupon, Freshly Squeezed Sunshine, Bookkeeper’s Brass) seem intriguing.

  65. I don’t own anything by them, but I am super interested in the inks. They look like magic potions with those gorgeous bottles!

  66. I don’t own any yet, but would love to be the recipient of this one! The nib is beautiful!

  67. I’m addicted Ferris wheel press inks and own almost all since 2020. The fountain pen is one that I’d love to own most of all

  68. I don’t currently have any Ferris Wheel Press items, but will definitely take a look at their products.

  69. I have their double raspberry ink from a summer Kickstarter a while ago. I love it! I also have a charger set of 3 inks which I’m glad I only have chargers for. The Blue Cotton Candy was very pale, but I loved the Tanzenite Sky. Sadly the lids didn’t seal well and they leaked. I still have my charger of Pink Eraser though!

  70. I own their Pumpkin Patch ink, and it is an absolute treasure in my ink collection!

  71. I don’t own any Ferris Wheel products but based on this post I’m intrigued about both the pebs and ink.

  72. Right now I own no products from Ferris Wheel Press. I would buy a Carousel pen or the Peter Moss ink.

  73. I don’t have any Ferris Wheel Press products. Given that I have way too many inks anyway, I would probably try to find an ink that is a bit different from what I already have.

  74. I’ve only tried their inks, starting with Pumpkin Patch. I’ve loved everything I’ve tried though!

  75. I love Ferris Wheel inks and have several colors. I just purchased one of their roller ball pens too! Fun to play with and be able to change inks at will.

  76. Jumping into the rabbit hole … I discovered the most lovely tawny brown ink calling to me. Seriously, I would love to own some of Ferris Wheel Press Wonder Pens Writing Desk. I would use the ink to pen a nice thank you letter to the magical monkeys who generous approved this comment and allowed me to participate in this giveaway.

  77. Just learned about Ferris Wheel Press from the post. Their Colour Spectrum Swatchbook is fantastic. Fingers crossed on the pen!

  78. I would purchase their inks just for the cool round bottles! I would purchase the Brush pen just for the engraved section. It is beautiful!

  79. I have at least one Ferris Wheel Press ink – the Lady Rose in Gold! It’s so pretty.

  80. I adore their April Showers ink. I’ve been looking for a green pen with THE perfect shade. I think this is it.

  81. oooooh, I’ve lusted after these pens since they came out, but they’re not in my budget. Fingers crossed that I’ll win one someday!

  82. I have the roaring patina sheening black shimmer ink and I love it! It’s killer in a flex nib

  83. I don’t own any Ferris Wheel Press products yet but I have been looking at the Edwards Garden and Down the Rabbit Hole Adventurine inks.

  84. I don’t own any Ferris Wheel Press products, though their products have caught my eye on IG. Their tattlers teal carousel/roundabout pens have caught my attention so I would pick up one of those first.

  85. I have many of their inks (I’d like to pick up Writing Desk and the newest trio they’ve made with the Tokyo bookstore) but have never gotten to try one of their pens! I’d love to.

  86. I have a Ferris Wheel Press ink and I quite enjoy using it. The next one I’d want is one of the new releases, perhaps the Blushing Mushroom.

  87. I don’t own any Ferris Wheel products, but if I were to get something it would be either this wonderful green pen or the Down the Rabbit Hole – Green with Curiosity ink. So many good choices, though. Will definitely have some of these on my Christmas wish list.

  88. I have Stroke of Midnight ink and love it! I’m looking forward to Blushing Mushroom and the other Down the Rabbit Hole inks. I recently tried a friends brush pen and really liked it.

  89. I don’t have any Ferris Wheel Press items, because, you know, I have too much stuff, but I should buy a bottle of ink and perhaps I will do so at the Ohio Pen Show this year! (Or I could win these beautiful things!)

  90. A leftie (handedness not politics) just getting back into fountain pens. Looks interesting. Trying to catch up on 50+ years avoiding the smear.

    You site looks great!

  91. I don’t have any Ferris Wheel products yet, but I keep coming back to look at them, and not just because they’re a local company. Also, I have green ink, but no green pen yet to go with it.

  92. Surfing the web for the new tools artist use is my favorite pastime. So when I saw this beautiful pen and it’s August 8th I thought why not leave a comment! It’s ok if I don’t win this beautifully crafted pen I know someone will enjoy it and I can have pen envy lol. Ok I’ll throw in I’m turning 70 this year and it would be amazing to try out the Farris Wheel Press before I leave this world hahaha, no for real. Hope I made you smile
    Very best to all!
    Marilyn

  93. I don’t have any Ferris Wheel products, but I think the Jelly Bean blue ink is gorgeous!

  94. I dont currently own any FWP products as I’m just getting into the world of writing and fountain pens, but I would choose an ink from their FerriTales line. I love the Tumbling Time Blue ink and how it shimmers with red.

  95. I don’t own any Ferris Wheel Press goods yet but have been wanting one of their brush pens for sooo long… Thrilled that they keep adding more pen colours – and love how they make everything look gorgeous, even the packaging.

  96. Thank you for introducing the Ferris Wheel Press Brush Fountain Pen (in Lord Evergreen) & Ink Charger Set to us through The Well-Appointed Desk. This looks like a fun set to use.

This is actually my first time learning about the Ferris Wheel Press; so, I don’t currently own any of their items. However, they seem to have so many magical things listed on their website. I would buy The Brush Fountain Pen Satin- Crème Glacée White which features a sleek and handsome white body with gold detail. I’d purchase this with a fine nib along with the Always Right Fether Notebook- Forget Me Not where I could enjoy filling the notebook’s pages with Down the Rabbit Hole| Tumbling Time Blue ink.

  97. I don’t have anything from Ferris Wheel Press currently but I do have an order of their shimmery inks on their way to me. Especially excited to try out Adventurine and Patina Black.
