Oh, Swingline Stapler, Oh, Swingline Stapler!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here, even though Halloween has not even come and gone yet. Why, you might ask? Because the Swingline classic 747 model Rio red stapler ornament arrived and you couldn’t get me into the Christmas spirit faster with egg nog and The Christmas Story than with this office-centric ornament.

Shall we deck the halls with office supplies, wreaths of Post-It notes and garlands of hole reinforcements?

Action Diary for 2013 Giveaway

You are what you do 2013 pocket planner

The folks over at We Are What We Do sent me a new 2013 Action Diary to giveaway to one lucky winner. I reviewed their diary earlier this year and the new edition is the same fine quality paper, matte-coated paperboard covers and filled with quippy “Get off your tookus” inspirational messages and pages for doodles and plans.

You are what you do 2013 pocket planner

This edition is a bright turquoise blue (one of the six colors available) and A6-sized (4.25″x5.75″ or thereabouts). The paper comes from sustainable sources and the proceeds from the sale of the products go to fund school and community activities. If you decide to purchase, they cost £6 per book (about $9.50 US) plus shipping.

Nice emboss on the cover

Now, if you’d like to win this, you need to tell me what Action you plan to take in 2013 to improve your community, school, neighborhood or yourself. No action, no entry.

FINE PRINT: All entries must be submitted by 10pm CST on Friday, October 26, 2012. All entries must be submitted at wellappointeddesk.com, not Twitter, Tumblr or Facebook, okay? Winner will be announced on Tuesday. Winner will be select by random number generator from entries that played by the rules (see above). Please include your email address in the comment form so that I can contact you if you win. I will not save email addresses or sell them to anyone — pinky swear. Shipping via USPS first class is covered. Additional shipping options or insurance will have to be paid by the winner. We are generous but we’re not made of money.
