My loss is your gain!
I recently acquired a 7-year pen. Have you heard about the 7-year pen? Our friends over at Pen Addict posted a nice review about it. The thing is… I don’t like ball-point pens at all. We just don’t click. So, my 7-year Pen can be yours. It was removed from the package long enough for me to dash off a couple strokes on paper, discover it was a ballpoint and then zip it back into the packaging. So, its as close to Mint-in-package as it could get.
Are you a skull and coffee lover? Medium tip, black ballpoint lover? If so, this could be your new favorite pen. Leave a comment here on Well-Appointed Desk (using our Disqus comment feature) and I will do a drawing on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011 so all entries must be in by Friday @ midnight CST.
Leafcutter Designs touts itself as the World’s Smallest Post Service and will create custom tiny cards, packages and other ephemera like this miniature newspaper.

Vintage drafting table and stool
A good workspace also needs a good utility table — a place to spread out materials for a project, brainstorm or just to stand around and jabber. This wood plank tabletop with solid sheet metal base and old signage drawers is beautiful, functional and environmental, not to mention seriously industrial. Details of the construction of the table can be seen under the “Collab Tables” tab on the Parliament Design site.
